Ntobeko Sishi (born 21 May 1998) is a South African actor, singer, and songwriter best known for starring as Ntokozo in the telenovela Gomora.
Sishi played a lead role in the high school drama Signal High and has appeared in many Netflix productions, including the film Love and Wine (2025). He was also a presenter of the SABC2 youth show Hectic Nine-9.

Early Life
Ntobeko Senzesihle Sishi was born on 21 May 1998. He lost his mother at the age of six, and his father rejected him and sent him on a flight to Durban at 10 years old, so his aunt and uncle raised him.
Education
Sishi obtained a BCom in economics and finance from the University of Cape Town. He also has a post-grad diploma in management and entrepreneurial studies.
Career
Sishi went to many auditions around Cape Town as a university student. Since most of the required touring, he chose his studies over. He did an internship at the investment company Allan Gray. In 2018, he bagged his first acting role as a schoolboy, Zuko, on the SABC 2 local teen drama “Signal High”.
Sishi made his presenting debut on SABC 2 teen talk show Hectic Nine-9 alongside Melody Gwala and Entle Bizana.
In 2020, he appeared on Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora as the mischievous Ntokozo Dlamini. He left the show to focus more on music.
Sishi played Lumko in the eMedia television drama “STOUT” and Motheo in the Netflix series YOH! Christmas in 2023. He landed a role on the Netflix drama series “Go!”
Ntobeko plays the lead character, Ovee Sityebi, in the Netflix romantic comedy “Love & Wine” (2025), alongside Masali Baduza, Thando Thabethe, Thandolwethu Zondi, N’kone Mametja, Bohang Moeko, and Rorisang Mohapi.
The former Hectic Nine-9 presenter released his first single, “I Don’t Dance,” in 2020. He released his album “Sincerely Yours” in 2021, featuring tracks such as Nothing New, Demons, You Know, and Go to the Moon, among others. He dropped his debut EP “A Night In The Hills” in 2022.
Sishi blends several music genres, including Pop, R’n’B, and Afro-Soul.
Personal Life
Ntobeko Sishi received an unexpected message informing him that his father was hospitalised in 2020. Upon arriving at the hospital, he saw his father on life support and chose to forgive his father. He is a born-again Christian and got baptised in 2023.
