Lungile Radu (born 2 August 1981) is a South African actor, television presenter, and executive producer. He is best known for hosting the Channel O shows Kasi 101, O-Boma, Shout It Out, and Set It Off.
Radu hosted the M-Net reality competition The Voice South Africa in 2016. He also co-hosted the sports show Homeground with Minnie Dlamini on Mzansi Magic in 2022. He has appeared in films such as Love Lives Here (2019) and The Vow (2023).

Early Life
Lungile Radu was born on 2 August 1981 in Soweto, Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Education
Radu matriculated from King Edward High School in 2000. He studied for a Bachelor of Commerce in Law at the University of South Africa.
Career
Lungile made his television debut, starring in many commercials for top brands. He has appeared in ads for Fanta and Standard Bank. He later became a Channel O Video Jockey in 200 and then began to host the SABC2 reality show It’s For Life.
He hosted the reality show “It’s For Life” on SABC2 in 2006 and later took over from Taps Mokoena as the host of the stunt-based show “Fear Factor South Africa” in 2007.
Lungile also made is acting debut with the role of Sibusiso Vilakazi in the soap opera Rhythm City in July 2007. He left in 2013, making his final appearance on 7 June.
Radu was the creator, director, and producer of the Vuzu reality series “Forever Young” in 2012. He also starred in the series with fellow actors Siya Ngwekazi and Thomas Gumede. He was one of GQ’s Best-Dressed Men of the Year in 2013.
He was named the new host of the M-Net reality competition Big Brother Mzansi in 2014 and returned in 2015. He also hosted the M-Net reality competition The Voice South Africa in 2016. He co-hosted the show Homeground with Minnie Dlamini on Mzansi Magic.
Aside from acting, Radu gives motivational talks to school children and is the co-owner of Parental Advisory Productions.
Personal Life
Lungile Radu married Bobo Mokgoro in Stellenbosch in 2014. They met in high school and dated for 18 years before having a traditional wedding. They welcomed their first child in 2015 and celebrated their anniversary in Zanzibar in 2017.
