Mpumelelo Mseleku (born March 2001) is a South African reality television star and soccer player. He is best known as the eldest son of renowned polygamist Musa Mseleku.
Mseleku has appeared on the Mzansi Magic reality shows Uthando Nes’thembu and Izingane Ses’thembu. He also played for the South African Premiership (PSL) team Moroka Swallows FC, making his debut in 2022.

Early Life
Mpumelelo Mseleku was born in March 2001 to Musa Mseleku and Nokukhanya “MaYeni” Mseleku. He grew up in Is’thembu and is the second-born child and first-born son of his father.
His mother, Nokukhanya “MaYeni” Mseleku, is his father’s second wife. He has four stepmothers, including Busisiwe “MaCele” Cele, Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku, Mbali “MaNgwabe” Mseleku, and Samke “MaKhwela” Khwela.
Education
Mpumelelo Mseleku studied music at Boston Media House in 2019.
Career
After graduating from Boston Media House, Mpumelelo ventured into football. He played for Moroka Swallows FC in their junior ranks. He played for the PSL team in the DStv Diski Challenge.
He appeared in his father’s reality series Uthando Nes’thembu, a show about his family, and in the spin-off reality show Izingane Ze’Sthembu. The show follows the lives of Mpumelelo and his siblings, Sne, Lwande, Mpilo, and Abongwe.
Mpumelelo ventured into the music industry and prepared to release his first house music single in 2023. He announced his upcoming song Idlozi featuring Mrango, which is in line with his spiritual journey as he is “accepting his calling.
Mpumelelo operates a business supplying water purification sachets in his home province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Personal Life
Mpumelelo Mseleku aspires to follow his father’s polygamous footsteps. He is currently in a relationship with Tirelo Kale and formerly dated Vuyokazi Nciweni. He also has a new girlfriend, Amahle Mgazi, for whom he paid lobola in 2025.
Mpumelelo has a son and a daughter, Mhlophekazi, with his ex-girlfriend, Vuyokazi Nciweni, and a son with Tirelo Kale, making Mpumelelo a father of three. He mentioned in an interview with The Venting Podcast that he had lost babies in the past due to miscarriages.
Mseleku and his first girlfriend, Vuyokazi Nciweni, have broken up. He has also been romantically linked to Nomfundo Shezi, aka Queen Lolly.
In 2025, Mpumelelo Mseleku is being investigated in connection with a murder case. This followed a fatal shooting at the family’s residence in Umzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal, after an armed intruder, reportedly, entered the property, demanding to see one of Musa’s sons.
