Liema Pantsi (born 25 October 2001) is a South African musician, DJ, model, and reality TV personality. She rose to prominence as a breakout star on Big Brother Mzansi.
Pantsi released her debut R&B single “Ain’t Worth It” in 2022 and the Afro-beat fusion single “Let Me Be” in 2024. She won Songwriter of the Year and Collaboration of the Year awards at the Basadi in Music Awards.

Early Life
Liyema Pantsi was born on 25 October 2001 in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. She started her musical journey in childhood. She began singing in church and also in family gatherings at the age of 10.
She led her school and church choirs and entered competitions. Her exceptional performance earned her the nickname “Harmony”.
Career
Liema made her television debut in Idols South Africa season 16, where he won the Golden Ticket in 2020. She later dropped her first song, “Ain’t Worth It,” in 2022. She also released her first studio album, Bells N Whistles, in 2024.
She entered Big Brother Mzansi Season 4 (S’ya Mosha) as a housemate in January 2024. She exited the house before the final week, after accepting a voluntary exit offer of R250,000.
Liema has released many hit singles, including “Let Me Be”, “Amahloni”, and “Impumelelo” with Cici. She joined Cici on her Love Tour in the Eastern Cape in March 2025. She
She bagged two awards at the 2025 Basadi in Music Awards for Collaboration of the Year with Cici for the “Impumelelo” single. She started off with R&B and neo soul and performed at DJ Zinhle’s Zee Nation Fest.
Liyema also clinched two awards at the 4th annual edition of the South African Social Media Awards (SASMA).
She also won Songwriter of the Year for the “Let Me Be” single. She was also announced as one of the judges for the 2025 South African Social Media Awards. She appeared as a recurring cast member in the Netflix television series Bad Influencer.
Pantsi returned as one of the four “Redemption housemates” in Big Brother Mzansi season 6 (Bazozwa). She was announced as a brand ambassador for the Honor X7d smartphone brand, with other influencers, in 2025.
Personal Life
Liema Pantsi is currently in a relationship. She previously dated Jareed during the Big Brother Mzansi season 4. Her grandmother passed away on 13 February 2024.
