Chante Hinds (born 2 August 1968) is a South African actress, television presenter, and training consultant. She is best known for her work in Afrikaans cinema and television.
Hinds has anchored current affairs programmes such as Good Morning South Africa and Wish You Were Here. She also portrayed several acting roles, such as Bokkie de Wet in Jakhalsdans (2010) and Tannie Dorrette in Stilte (2012).

Early Life
Chante Hinds was born on 2 August 1968 in Cape Town, Western Cape. She grew up in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Education
Hinds attended Kempton Park High School. After matric, she enrolled to study English and Drama at the University of Potchefstroom.
Career
Chante has presented television and radio shows, such as current affairs and travel documentaries. She anchored Your Own Business, Wish You Were Here, and Good Morning South Africa.
Hinds also co-presented the SABC2 weekday show, Lifestyle, alongside Maggie Benedict. It includes inserts on weddings, weight loss, pets, health, and beauty.
Chante is also a co-author of spiritual guidance books. She has written articles for many religious magazines. She has been a guest speaker at corporate and international conferences.
She is also the founding director of interEDGE Training Consultancy, which specializes in voice training and accent neutralization.
As an actress, she has appeared in many films. She portrayed Tannie Dorrette in the Afrikaans-language faith-based romantic drama Stilte (2012). She also played Barbara in Begeertes (2007) and Bokkie de Wet in Jakhalsdans (2010).
Ludwig’s Roses honored her by naming a rose “Chante Hinds” after her. She played Foonsnol in the SABC2 drama Konings.
Personal Life
Chante Hinds is currently married to wool farmer Jan Möller in 2007. They lost their 18-month-old son, Jan Daniël Möller, in 2009, after he drowned in a farm dam. A few years earlier, her brother drowned at sea.
She has another son, Darius. Before marrying Jan Möller, Hinds was first married to Evan Schoombie and later to Christian Zimelka. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
