Growing up in a musically inclined household exposed Ciza to the entertainment industry. He started composing and writing music at the age of 15. His parents, being a force in the music industry, supported him.

His musical performances in school made him popular. He entered school talent shows, danced with his friends, and participated in school concerts.

Career

After completing his matric in 2019, Ciza began his professional music career. In July 2020, he released his first single, Come Alive, followed later that year by Adje, a song influenced by Yoruba culture and blending Afrobeats with South African Afro-pop.

In 2021, Ciza released the extended play Golden Boy Pack featuring Major League DJz, DJ Maphorisa, Abidoza, and Marioo. He collaborated with DJ Maphorisa on the song “Bank Notification,” which discusses the joy people experience when receiving a bank notification on their phones.

In April 2021, he released the single Isaka (6am), which received significant airplay and topped the official charts in South Africa. Since he released the song, it has topped many music charts, taken over radio stations, and gotten clubs jumping.

Adding to singing, Ciza is exceptional at DJing. He released his debut Extended Play (EP), Golden Boy Pack, in 2021. The project was inspired by African legendary hits featuring industry heavyweights, including Superstar Marioo, Major League DJs, DJ Maphorisa, and Ibiza.

Ciza, who owns the Legends Barbershop franchise in Rosebank, featured rapper Maglera Doe Boy in his song Free Me. He derived his sounds from the work of Nigerian talents, Rema and Wizkid, and South African talents, Mafikizolo and Musa Keys.

Ciza made headlines for allegedly dating pregnant rapper Anele Zondo. He claimed that the alleged relationship with Anele and that he impregnated her is fake news. He had his first child at the age of 20.

His siblings include Thamsanqa, Luvuyo, and Zinathi, who died at the tender age of five, after she sustained severe head injuries in a car crash in Atlasville, Benoni.
