Evodia Mogase (born 17 November) is a South African TV personality and entrepreneur. She is best known as one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ).
Mogase shows off her lavish lifestyle on her reality show, Madam & Mercy, alongside her daughter. She returned to reality television as a cast member for the upcoming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa in November 2025.

Early Life
Evodia Mogase was born on 17 November to a salesman father, Reuben, and a factory worker mother, Louisa.
She grew up in a middle-class family in Diepkloof, Soweto, raised by her parents. Her parents gave her and her siblings the best education they could afford.
Education
Mogase holds a BA in education from the University of the North.
Career
After graduating from the university, Mogase worked as a teacher for a year. She taught biology but quit after realising teaching was “not challenging enough”. She then launched a catering company.
After some months, Eskom awarded her company a five-year contract. She got more contracts for catering and cleaning services. She is a Herbalife independent distributor.
While she was doing the cleaning services, she saw an opportunity in vegetation management. So she returned to school to study environmental management and later started working in the field.
Mogase rose to prominence after she was cast on season one of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ). She stars alongside Mercy Mogase, Christall Kay, Naledi Willers, Brinnette Seopela and Busisiwe “Lendy” Ter Mors.
She and her daughter, Mercy, eventually landed their own reality show, “Madam and Mercy”. She was cast in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa on 28 November 2025.
Personal Life
Evodia Mogase was married, but her ex-husband, who passed away in 2017, was cheating. So she called it quits and filed for divorce in 2009, after 15 years.
As a couple, they built a panel beating firm in Limpopo, but she left everything after the divorce. She has two daughters, Mercy and Princess.
