Khutso Theledi (born 23 March 1991) is a South African radio presenter, voiceover artist, and MC best known for hosting Metro FM’s “Break Away With Khutso Theledi”.
Theledi hosted The Freeway and The Raw Rush alongside Thulisa Kanzi for two years and Krunch Time and R&B Hot 9 Charts on YFM. She was the face of Sony Xperia XA1 in 2017.

Early Life
Khutso Theledi was born on 23 March 1991 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Her father died when she was two years old, and her mother raised her and her siblings.
Growing up, people teased her deep voice. She started attending a boarding school at the age of five and wasn’t shy to sit in the front of the class. She moved to Johannesburg in 2005 to complete her high school.
Education
Khutso did drama in high school. She enrolled to study media communications at Monash University, but left to join the Boston Media House to study journalism, public relations, and radio (sound engineering) in 2011.
Career
Khutso hosts Metro FM’s Break Away With Khutso Theledi on weekdays. In her first year in school, she did a voice-over for Boston Media House, which caught the attention of YFM.
Mo Flava and Tumelo Diaho-Monaheng poached her, and she was eventually called to do a demo for a breakfast show. In 2012, she started working with the Gauteng-based youth radio station, YFM. She also hosted Krunch Time and R&B Hot 9 Charts on YFM.
In 2022, she joined Metro FM as a co-host of the breakfast show with Mo Flava. She also co-hosted The Raw Rush with Thulisa Kanzi. She was also the face and presenter for Kasi Car Culture & Celeb Rides.
Aside from being a presenter, Khutso has also bagged acting roles. She played a cameo on the musical drama series Rhythm City. She was the face of the Sony Xperia XA1 in 2017 and the first female in South Africa to host an afternoon drive time show alone in 2021.
She was announced as one of the ambassadors of Telkom, among other South African stars, in 2021. Khutso joined as co-host of the breakfast show with Mo Flava on Metro FM in 2022. On weekdays, she hosts Break Away with Khutso Theledi on Metro FM.
Khutso has won several awards as a radio broadcaster. She won the 2017 Ebony Life TV Sisterhood Award for TV Personality of the Year and the 2018 On-Air Personality Award at The Future Awards. She has also won the Basadi In Music Awards for Entertainment Radio Presenter of the Year.
Theledi has also been involved in sports. She played for the South African netball team. She also spins cars in her spare time. She started spinning in 2013 when she and Mo Flava honored Pule N’s invite to a spinning gathering.
Personal Life
Khutso Theledi is married to her Italian husband, Wamina. They met on Instagram and started dating. Her husband is a few years younger than she is.
The duo was together for five years before her Italian fiancé proposed to her on a getaway at the Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort in Mozambique in April 2023. He paid lobola in December 2023.
