The luxury lifestyle influencer has partnered with top brands, such as Nespresso, Samsung, and H&M, and bagged a Cosmopolitan’s Style Influencer Award. She also earned a spot in Glamour’s Most Glamorous Class of 2018.

Early Life
Sarah Langa was born on 26 February 1993 in Mofolo, Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. Growing up in Soweto, her last name was Mthembu, which she got from her grandmother.
She has a mixed ethnicity, with her British father and a mother from a family with South African roots, while her grandmother was Swati. She has a Swati, Zulu, and Christian upbringing. Her mother’s family name is Malaza.
According to Sarah, her parents ticked “other” in the race category when enrolling her in school.
Education
After completing high school, Sarah enrolled to study a BA in Psychology and Marketing from Wits University. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Business and a degree from the British Academy of Interior Design.
On 15 July 2025, Sarah graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, which recognizes top-performing students.
Career
Langa rose to fame in 2013 through her fashion blog, HeatOnTheLine, which gained traction among social media users. She landed her first paying gig with the Woolworths autumn/winter campaign in 2015.
Sarah has also partnered with top brands, including Samsung, Nespresso, and H&M. She has won Cosmopolitan’s Style Influencer Award and a spot in Glamour’s Most Glamorous Class of 2018.
She has also walked a few runways and worked with top fashion designers, including MaXhosa and Rich Mnisi. She was among the stars participating in the Vodacom Red Vip experience in 2021.
Sarah Langa is the founder of a luxury resale platform, Luvant, and Heaton Consulting. She has also gained international success after making a standout appearance at Paris Fashion Week 2025. She also attended the Business of Fashion (BoF) 500 Gala.
She is nominated for Fashion Influencer of the Year at the 2025 Hummingbird Fashion Awards in Frankfurt, Germany. She is up against international stars, such as Aimee Song and Victoria Beckham.
Personal Life
Sarah Langa got married to the businessman Jehan McKay in December 2016. The couple celebrated their white wedding and reception at the exquisite Munro Hotel in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, in a Marble-themed extravaganza.
Mackay grew up in the Islamic faith, while Sarah is a Christian. They participated in a Muslim wedding ceremony at the Munro Hotel and changed into their Muslim outfits at the reception.
After two years and 10 months of marriage, Langa and McKay ended their union. Her ex-husband, Jehan McKay, left her in September 2019, and their divorce was finalized in 2020.
Sarah Langa is currently dating Springboks fly-half, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu. The couple started dating in 2024.
Langa is nine years older than her boyfriend, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
