Sbahle Mpisane (born 18 June 1993) is a South African fitness trainer, entrepreneur, and media personality. She is the founder of the personal training and bootcamp programme FitnessBunnie.
Mpisane has appeared in reality shows such as Tropika Island of Treasure and Kwa Mam’Mkhize. She has landed endorsement deals with major brands, like Melford Divas Hair and Nativechild.

Early Life
Sbahle Mpisane was born on 18 June 1993 in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, to businessman Sbu Mpisane. Her biological mother abandoned her at 3 years old, when her now stepmother, Shauwn Mkhize, was her father’s then-girlfriend.
Her stepmother, Shauwn, raised her and her younger brother, Andile Mpisane. Her parents separated in January 2018.
Education
Mpisane obtained a Bachelor’s degree in housing and town planning from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in April 2018.
Career
Sbahle is the founder of the bootcamp programme FitnessBunnie, which has been held in South Africa, Lesotho, and Botswana. She rose to prominence by sharing fitness videos and photos on social media.
Sbahle uses her platform to share workout routines, healthy eating tips, and body positivity messages. She has also bagged endorsement deals with top brands, including Melford Divas Hair, and was appointed as the brand ambassador for the bottled water company, Aqua Air Africa.
Mpisane has also appeared on television reality shows. She entered Tropika Island of Treasure as a celebrity contestant in 2018. She also appeared on the reality show Kwa Mam’Mkhize alongside her stepmother and her brother.
Sbahle is also good at public speaking and creates content. She has continued to openly share her recovery journey, struggles with mental health, and self-discovery on platforms.
Personal Life
Sbahle Mpisane was dating Bafana Bafana captain Itumeleng Khune. They parted ways after her car accident in Durban.
Mpisane was involved in an accident in August 2018. She lost control of her car on Margaret Mncadi Avenue in Durban and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. She was taken to Netcare St Augustine’s Hospital in Durban.
She was treated for many traumatic injuries and spent several months in the ICU. She suffered from memory loss after being in a coma for a month and was discharged on 1 December 2018. She had a tattoo in honour of her stepmother.
