Scotts Maphuma was born Mpho Lebajoa on 9 October 1995 in Daveyton, Gauteng, South Africa. He is a man of many talents. He was very good at football and almost became a professional player.

Career

Maphuma started his professional music career in 2017. He would often hold casual jam sessions with friends in local venues. His electrifying performances have gained him many listeners.

Known for fusing electronic sounds with traditional African rhythms, Maphuma has released many hit songs. The release of his album, Saka, in 2022 drew the attention of many music lovers to him, helping him establish his presence.

Scotts Maphuma has since collaborated and worked with seasoned artists such as LeeMcKrazy, DJ Jaivane, Busta 929, Dlala Regal, and Young Stunna, among others. He released his song Mfanakithi in May 2024 and is signed to Gipa Entertainment.
