Thando Mokoena (born 14 September 2007) is a South African internet personality best known as the daughter of Pearl Thusi.

Early Life
Thandolwethu Mokoena was born on 14 September 2007 in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, to sports broadcaster Walter Mokoena and actress Pearl Thusi.
Her mother, Pearl Thusi, was 19 years old when she was born, but her parents separated when she was still very young. Her father and mother have co-parented her and have been part of her life. She is closer to her mother than her father, with whom she still maintains a good relationship.
Thando has a younger sister, Okuhlekonke Thusi, who was adopted by her mother into their family in 2019. She travels and spends more time with her mother, which has tightened their bond.
Education
Thando Mokoena studied at an American international school. She graduated in 2025, and her parents were in attendance. She wore a gown designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee as her matric dance dress in 2025.
Career
Thando has garnered a significant presence on social media, similar to her mother. She was introduced to South Africans by her mother at a young age but has since grown a large following on TikTok and Instagram.
She creates video and picture content on these platforms. She posts dancing, lip-syncing, singing, and time with family videos.
Her fashion sense makes her her mother’s daughter, and she doesn’t hold back when showcasing it. Most times, she appears on natural hair.
Aside from creating content, Thando has worked with many top brands within and outside Nigeria. She has collaborated with global brands such as Nike, Disney, and Beyoncé.
Thando has also done some acting and has featured in many of her mother’s projects. She was cast in the Netflix series Queen Sono and the movie Catching Feelings. She was also cast on her mother’s reality show, The Real Black Pearl.
She has also graced many celebrity shows with her mother, including the NBA Africa Game in 2017 and the premiere of Black Panther in 2018. She is also a model and recently modelled a Counterfit 2-Piece Tracksuit.
Personal Life
Thando Mokoena is currently dating digital creator Dreezy. The duo has appeared together in many online videos. She introduced her boyfriend in a video on TikTok in August 2025.
