Annie Mthembu (born 1992), née Ludick, is a South African businesswoman and reality television personality. She is best known as a cast member of The Real Housewives of Durban.
Mthembu has several businesses, including Annaesthetic Beauty Studio, a marketing and communications agency, WeDo Marketing, and LeopardPrint Dance Agency, which hires dancers for high-profile events.

Career
Mthembu started her journey in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. In 2016, she served as a personal assistant to Kgolo Mthembu, whom she later married. She was nicknamed “Mrs Annbition”, because of her ability to turn ideas into profits.
She was one of the cast members on Showmax’s show The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD). Since her marriage began to break down while she was filming season three of RHOD, she decided to leave the show.
She runs a marketing agency, WeDo Marketing. She has launched campaigns for brands such as Paramount Pictures, Steve Madden, Pernod Ricard, Gagasi FM, and others.
Annie owns Annaesthetic Beauty Studio, among other businesses. She uses her Annaesthetic Foundation to regift her extravagant RHOD and event gowns for matric dances. She also plans to open a tuition-free beauty school.
Since the launch of Anneaesthetic in 2019, they have giving in-house training on beauty to young women without options. They also put them through school to do their diploma in beauty.
Her beauty business was nominated for the International Spa Awards in the Best Luxury Beauty Salon Category in 2023.
In November 2025, Annie appeared in the spin-off The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Africa on Showmax.
Personal Life
Annie Mthembu got married to businessman Kgolo “Daguru” Mthembu in May 2021. They had their wedding ceremony at the luxurious La Paris Estate in the Cape Winelands. Her pink wedding gown was designed by Jacqui Emmanuel.
Annie and Kgolo started dating in 2016, when she was employed as a personal assistant to him. She walked away from the marriage because Kgolo had cheated on her many times and battled alcohol addiction. She has since moved to Cape Town with her children.
She now co-parents her two children with her ex-husband, Kgolo “Daguru” Mthembu.
Annie celebrated her 30th birthday in 2022. She thanked her then-husband for planning the surprises that made her birthday weekend amazing. Fellow cast members, Sorisha Naidoo, Londie London, and Lasizwe Dambuza, were in attendance.
